from the same as ησυχιος, - hesuchios G 2272; to keep still (intransitively), i.e. refrain from labor, meddlesomeness or speech:--cease, hold peace, be quiet, rest.



ησυχαζειν 1 Th 4:11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
